I am a finger style guitarist who writes, performs and records mainly original music.
While my primary musical focus is composing and arranging on acoustic guitar,
my studies of classical and jazz guitar have also influenced my music.
Since 1987, I have released eleven CD's of music comprising a wide range
of styles,
including Celtic, Samba and spoken word poetry with music backing.
My influences come from just about all music but my inspiration to create is driven by my own experiences,
especially my passion for the wild world of nature.
In 1993 I released my CD Sea of Dreams, which is a blend of nature sounds and guitar music.
So far, it's been my best selling CD with over 150,000 worldwide sales.
This music still receives airplay and several of the songs are on an Itunes Spa compilation CD.
I also play several other instruments including Celtic Harp.
My 1995 CD Celtic Dawn is a collection of original songs performed on nylon and wire harps.
My CD Gold and Ivory (2007) is a collection of original instrumental Samba Jazz
pieces featuring acoustic guitar backed with intricate Brazilian rhythms.
This CD is currently receiving airplay on Smooth Jazz-format radio stations in North America.
It is a follow up to my 2005 release Bossa Nova Dreams, a collection of fifteen classic
Bossa Nova songs by Antonio Carlos Jobim and other Brazilian composers.
I recorded this album with singer/sax player Caio Torrado who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I currently live on Vancouver Island BC and perform at special events on the Island
and in the Vancouver area.
